Frank O.T. Reilly has been active in the Japanese underground music scene for over a decade, working as a self-taught graphic designer, camera operator, music video director, and more. While he doesn’t consider himself a professional in any of these fields, he believes that a strong “do-it-yourself” ethic is essential for surviving in Japan’s constantly shrinking and economically challenging environment.

In addition to producing his own musical projects, he has frequently supported the work of friends’ bands and musicians, may it be designing flyers, running websites, shooting music videos, or taking photos. From this spirit of mutual aid came the idea of l’Ovile (Italian for “sheepfold”)- not just as a means to adhere to tax obligations, but especially as a way to create a small yet safe space for collaboration and artistic production.

While l’Ovile is primarily a home for Frank O.T. Reilly and his close circle, he’s always open to connecting with new artists. Feel free to use the contact form to get in touch and discuss possible collaborations!

Frank O.T. Reillyは、日本のアンダーグラウンド音楽シーンで長年にわたり活動しており、デザイン、カメラ撮影、ミュージックビデオの制作等を独学で行ってきた。経済的困難が続く日本のインディーズ業界ではDIY精神が不可欠だと信じ、素人でありながらも自分の活動だけではなく、友人のバンドやアーティストの活動を支えてきました。ホームページ制作、フライヤーデザイン、MVやアーティスト写真の撮影、ライブ撮影等、できることは何でも引き受けてきました。

こうした助け合いのメンタルから生まれたのが、l’Ovile（イタリア語で「羊小屋」）という組織です。l’Ovileは、税務上の義務を果たすための仕組みだけではなく、仲間同士で安心して活動ができる場として存在しています。
